Vocational Development at New Focus Academy
At New Focus, we call team members “coaches,” because they support our students throughout the treatment process. Our coaching-based method helps our uniquely abled students get the extra boost and motivation to progress through the program. Dedicated coaches using a consistent positive reinforcement system are the lifeblood of our program. We use coaches in all aspects of treatment to provide the necessary feedback and support our students need for social and academic growth.

Why New Focus Academy Rocks
Co-Founder and Executive Director Dr. Brandon Park (talks) about one of his favorite tasks that is assigned to the students at New Focus Academy.
The task is to find rocks and work with them to transform the rough rock into something smooth and beautiful. It is a wonderful reflection of the students' journey and a way for the students to learn success and witness their own abilities first hand.

Learn More About Dr. Brandon Park
Through many great opportunities, Dr. Brandon Park developed positive interactive approaches using an understanding of the brain-behavior relationship leading to significant improvements in the students he works with. Dr. Park also began to see how properly designed adolescent programs could help students begin to take accountability for themselves, appreciate the power of their own choices, and assist families to improve the systems and interactions they need to have a rewarding relationship with their child. He is excited to bring my knowledge, experience, and an incredible team to you as we strive for success with your child.
