Chris gained her undergraduate degree at Brigham Young University with a major in Marriage and Family Studies. Chris went to Northcentral University and has a Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy.
Chris is an experiential therapist. She is integrative and systemic in her approach. These include Play Therapy, Nature Therapy, Family Therapy, Individual Therapy, EMDR Therapy, Mindfulness Therapy, Baking Therapy and will adapt therapy to the needs of the client. Chris believes that therapy can be fun and should include the client's input. Previously Chris has worked as a Clinical Director, a Family Therapist, Individual Therapist in Residential Treatment and Private Practice. Chris enjoys working with clients and seeing how small changes within the family system can make big changes in families. Chris has worked with clients of all ages but especially enjoys working with teens. She believes that we all can improve our mental health through persistence and hope.
Chris grew up in the mountains of Utah and loves to be outdoors enjoying mountain biking, hot springs, nature's beauty and animals.
Chris has two granddaughters and three adult children. She lives in the mountains near New Focus Academy with her husband and three dogs.
