Luke Ross joins the academic team at New Focus Academy with a background in customer service and a strong foundation in communication and reliability. His work provided learning opportunities in problem-solving, attentiveness, and effective collaboration with a wide range of people.
Before beginning his academic journey, Luke spent two years serving on a service mission in Montevideo, Uruguay, an experience that deepened his communication skills and his ability to connect with people from different backgrounds and cultures. That international experience also strengthened his fluency in Spanish, which he uses as a second language.
Luke holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics with a minor in Accounting from Southern Utah University, giving him a practical, real-world foundation he brings into his Career and Technical Education classroom. He brings a strong work ethic, adaptability, and a genuine willingness to connect with students to his role at New Focus Academy. Outside of work, Luke enjoys mountain biking, backpacking, camping, playing board games, and Fortnite.
